The Merkur flagship store was opened in 2012 in Vienna in one of the squares most steeped in history. Not only is much expected of the culinary delights, but also of the architecture.

A journey in the glass lift sets our three-dimensional “Dunes” of stainless steel in motion. This movement and the simultaneous reflection of the LED accentuated lighting create the illusion of a flowing waterfall for the observer.
